About the
role
We have a brand new and
exciting opportunity for a Senior Surveyor (Healthy Homes) to join
our Asset Team. This role will be key in delivering a tenant
focused, efficient and accurate service, with a focus on managing
and diagnosing predominately damp and mould cases along with
associated disrepair issues across the Association’s homes.
Overseeing and managing a specialist triage team to ensure timely
interventions and ensuring that works are carried out efficiently
in accordance with legislation – this is an opportunity not to be
missed!
Some of the main duties of the
role will include:
Taking ownership
for providing and delivering triage repair services in relation to
damp and mould across all Broadland’s properties.
Liaising with others within the business to ensure that
appropriate response and actions are taken.
To
carry out post inspections and to ensure that Health and Safety,
Compliance and Legislation requirements are met.

About
You
The successful candidate will
ideally have an appropriate degree in Building Surveying or
similar, with a good understanding of building defects, diagnosis
and required corrective action (ideally within a housing
environment) as well as experience of coordinating and managing
projects. Previous managerial experience would be an
advantage.
The ideal candidate will be driven,
self-motivated with the passion to provide excellent customer
service to our tenants with the ability to work collaboratively, in
order to support and motivate a brand new team within the
organisation.
A driving licence and access to
own vehicle is essential as travel throughout Norfolk will be
required.
