You will act as a positive role model, contribute to care planning, and help maintain high standards of practice within the home.Responsibilities will include:Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to young people with complex needsSupporting children to manage behaviour positively and develop coping strategiesLeading shifts, offering guidance to staff, and ensuring routines and care plans are followedContributing to care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategiesSupporting young people to engage in education, activities, hobbies, and community lifePromoting independence, self-esteem, and emotional wellbeingMaintaining accurate records and working in partnership with professionals and familiesEnsuring safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements are always metRequirementsResidential Childcare Level 3 qualificationExperience working with children with EBD in a residential settingStrong safeguarding knowledge and a child-centred approachAbility to lead by example and support less experienced staff.If you are passionate about making a lasting difference and want to be part of an exciting new childrens home, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
