This is a varied and rewarding role, combining leadership and administration with hands-on support, helping people to live independently in their own homes and within their local community.As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the management team in a supervisory capacity while also delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You will lead by example, promote best practice, and help create a positive, open and safe culture for both staff and the people we support.Key ResponsibilitiesPromoting Best PracticeSupport teams to deliver person-centred support that reflects individuals needs, wishes and aspirationsPromote an open, inclusive and safe working cultureComplete quality and compliance audits and support improvement action plansSupport the achievement of service KPIsPromote health and safety across the serviceAct as an ambassador for FitzRoy within the local community and with external agenciesChampion organisational initiatives, including digital transformationSupervisory & Leadership SupportRole model positive and inclusive team workingSupport managers with rota planning, staffing cover and absence managementAllocate tasks and lead shifts to ensure effective service deliveryProvide guidance, supervision and support to Support WorkersConduct support and development meetings and return-to-work interviewsSupport the induction of new starters, bank and agency staffAct as a first point of contact for day-to-day staff queriesRespond appropriately to emergencies in line with service protocolsAdministration & Compliance (15 hours per week)Ensure accurate and timely completion of records and reportsMaintain quality monitoring systems and digital recordsSupport the management of finances for people we support, in line with policyOversee medication management, audits and complianceUse and support staff with digital systems such as ORS and Digital Support PlansCarry out staff observations to support training and complianceDirect Support (22.5 hours per week)Provide hands-on support to people in their own homes and in the community across the Fakenham areaSupport individuals to achieve personal goals, maintain independence and access community activitiesBuild positive relationships with people we support, families and professionalsTravel between support visits, claiming mileage at £0.45 per mileWhat Were Looking ForExperience as a Support Worker, ideally with some supervisory or senior responsibilitiesStrong leadership, organisation and communication skillsA commitment to person-centred, community-based supportConfidence balancing administrative responsibilities with direct supportA full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)Ability to travel across the Fakenham areaWhat We Offer£12.35 per hour£0.45 per mile + paid travel time30 days holiday including Bank Holidays (pro rata) increasing with serviceFree Blue Light Card and paid DBSHealth Cash Plan claim back on dental, optical, physio & morePerkbox discounts on shopping, food, days out & wellbeingEmployee Assistance Programme 24/7 access to virtual GPs, counselling & moreLoyalty awards and life assuranceFull training and genuine opportunities for career progressionTPBN1_UKTJ
