Senior Support Worker Assistant Manager

Our client is seeking a committed, motivated and resilient Senior Support Worker able to take on an Assistant Manager role to support vulnerable adults with challenging behaviours and mental health conditions. This role will involve leading and supporting a team of support workers in providing care to vulnerable individuals in a supported accommodation setting. This role requires minimum of 3 years experience in health and social care, leadership skills, and a Level 3 qualification (such as an NVQ or Diploma) in Health and Social Care. The key responsibilities : Leading and Supervising : Oversee and manage a team of support workers, ensuring they are properly trained and competent. Managing HR duties for the company at the designated unit or units. Manage in-house team meetings Provide hands-on support to citizens we support, including personal care and hygiene assistance as needed. Care Planning : Develop, implement, and regularly update individualised care plans based on each person's needs and preferences. Completing daily notes, incident reports, support plans, reviews and assessments. Health Monitoring: Monitor people's health, administer medication according to established protocols, and report any health concerns to the appropriate personnel.
