We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a creative, multidisciplinary structural engineering consultancy in London. Duties Include:

Assist in the delivery of client projects on time and budget

*

Work on all aspects of design for small to medium projects with minimal supervision, and support larger projects on selected technical issues

*

Coordinate closely with internal teams, including sustainability and civil engineers

*

Manage and instruct technicians in the production of drawings and models

*

Liaise with architects, clients, and other stakeholders, attending site visits and meetings as required

*

Support fee negotiations and project appointment matters where necessary

*

Proactively manage your professional development, including CPD/IPD training

You will work on a wide variety of projects, including:

*

High-end commercial new builds

*

Complex refurbishments of existing buildings

*

Mass housing projects and masterplans

*

Schools and educational facilities

*

Architecturally distinctive private residential projects

What We’re Looking For

*

Minimum 5+ years post-graduate experience, with at least 1 year in the UK

*

Chartered (or working towards) with a professional body such as IStructE or ICE

*

Experience managing smaller projects or practice management duties

*

Strong technical knowledge across structural design, ideally including timber and composite materials

*

Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and liaise with architects and clients

*

Excellent project management skills: time, cost, resources, and communication

*

Open, approachable, and collaborative attitude

*

Strong academic background in a relevant engineering discipline
