With more than 36,000 people across over 70 countries, they are dedicated to improving quality of life.They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer based in the UK with a strong technical background. The role requires experience in designing structures of various types and leading structural teams on small to medium-sized projects with varying levels of complexity.They work with a wide range of national and international clients across multiple sectors, with a strong focus on industrial manufacturing, technology, education, government, and defence.Recent projects include data centres, distribution centres, gigafactories, manufacturing facilities for the automotive industry, microprocessor plants, and a variety of industrial buildings, as well as accommodation, offices, retail, schools, and public buildings. They are involved in both design and technical advisory services across all project stages, including work on highly secure and complex existing assets.Role Responsibilities: Work within a multidisciplinary team to lead the design and coordination of structural solutions across a range of projectsLead structural teams on small to medium-sized projects, or take responsibility for specific packages on larger schemesUndertake design work directly or supervise the work of other engineersManage technical and commercial aspects of projectsLead small teams of structural engineers and BIM modellersInterface with clients, stakeholders, and project teamsContribute to technical quality processes, including thorough checking of team outputsSupport mentoring and development of engineers and colleagues Qualifications & Experience: Relevant degree in Structural or Civil EngineeringProfessionally qualified (ideally Chartered with IStructE or ICE), or significant progress toward chartershipStrong technical expertise across a range of structural engineering projectsExperience with structural materials and their practical application on siteFamiliarity with structural analysis and design softwareStrong understanding of health & safety and relevant legislationExcellent communication skills, including technical report writingHigh attention to detail and strong review capabilityInterest in sustainability and delivering sustainable outcomesProven ability to manage small teams and project resourcesCollaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor and share knowledge For more information, please contact Scarlet Wilson.JBRP1_UKTJ
