With a strong reputation in multiple sectors including commercial, education, defence, and residential the company are known for their commitment to improving communities and delivering quality results.
They are now looking to strengthen their team in the Nottingham office with an experienced Senior Structural Engineer who will help deliver complex and impactful projects in sectors such as defence, secure infrastructure, and aviation.
Role Overview
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance on a variety of projects, ensuring they meet client expectations from inception to completion. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver practical, cost-effective structural solutions and coordinate design packages across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with team leaders to achieve monthly fee income targets Assist in the promotion of the consultancy's structural engineering services Design practical and economically viable structural solutions, interpreting architectural concepts Manage project scopes, client briefs, cost planning, and deliverables Oversee project progress, variations, and financial budgets Foster strong client and design team relationships for long-term collaboration Conduct structural surveys and compile detailed reports Contribute to fee quotations and assist in bidding for new work Champion BIM and 3D design/drawing practices within the team Essential Experience and Skills
Relevant MEng or BEng degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Actively working towards Chartership with IStructE or ICE In-depth knowledge of building construction, regulations, and related legislation Experience working on projects with contract values ranging from £250k to £10m Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities What's On Offer
