Senior Structural Engineer – Chesterfield

About the Role A growing structural engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their small, collaborative team in Chesterfield. You’ll play a key role in delivering a variety of projects, with a focus on residential developments, while contributing to the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for residential and mixed-use projects
* Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and technical reports
* Mentor junior engineers and support a small team environment
* Attend site visits and liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals
* Ensure all work meets relevant codes, standards, and sustainability considerations
About You
* Degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline
* Chartered or working towards chartership (e.g., IStructE or ICE)
* Proven experience in residential and mixed-use structural projects
* Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, or similar)
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
