This senior-level position offers the opportunity to lead and deliver complex structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. You will work closely with clients, architects and internal teams to produce innovative, practical and high-quality design solutions.\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven project leadership capability and the confidence to manage multiple workloads effectively.

You will be a clear and confident communicator, able to mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines to ensure exceptional standards of delivery. Proficiency in industry-standard structural design software is essential, alongside a genuine passion for the built environment and a solid understanding of the construction process.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and manage the delivery of structural engineering projects from inception to completion.\nCoordinate and oversee the work of project engineers, graduates, and technicians.\nCommunicate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.\nApply excellent structural design skills using relevant software tools (e.g., TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame, MasterSeries Retaining Wall).\nManage multiple projects across different disciplines within a consultancy environment.\nMentor and lead junior team members, providing guidance and professional development.\nSolve complex engineering problems with innovative and practical solutions.\nPrepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to clients and internal teams.\nMaintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and reliability throughout project delivery.\nDemonstrate a proactive, “can do” attitude and strong commitment to teamwork \nWhat are we looking for:\n\nStrong expereince in a relevant structural engineering role. Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and leadership within the industry.\nProven track record in successfully managing the delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.

Able to coordinate and oversee design activities within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with client objectives.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a wider design team, lead junior staff, and liaise confidently with clients, stakeholders, and external consultants.\nAdvanced structural design capabilities, with extensive experience using industry-standard software, including TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame, and MasterSeries Retaining Wall.
