We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storage Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in a wide range of storage technologies and systems, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team environment.

What you'll do

Design, implement, and manage storage solutions using IBM Storage Scale (GPFS), Storage Protect (TSM), Spectrum Archive, Dell/EMC PowerScale (Isilon), Unity, PowerVault, Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, IBM V7000 and tape libraries, and NetBackup. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of storage systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with Linux, Windows, VMware and AWS environments. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth. Document processes, procedures, and best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing across the team. Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.

What you'll bring

Extensive experience managing, supporting and troubleshooting:

IBM Storage Scale (GPFS), Storage Protect (TSM), Spectrum Archive Dell PowerScale (Isilon), Unity, PowerVault storage systems Brocade and Cisco SAN switches IBM V7000/V5000 storage systems Veritas NetBackup

Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and AWS environments Strong Bash and Python scripting skills, with a focus on automation Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and Zabbix monitoring tools Experience with Docker Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative. Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently within a global team. Proven experience in mentoring junior team members. Effective documentation skills, with a focus on process and procedure standardization.
