Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a reputable independent mobility company in Kent, which is now looking to recruit an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join its growing team.

This role is service and repair only – no installations required. The position will involve working on both through-the-floor home lifts and stairlifts, covering a localised patch across Southeast England.

Applications are invited from candidates with extensive stairlift engineering experience, even if home lift engineering experience is limited.

Commutable from: Dartford, Greenhithe, Gravesend, Welling, Woolwich, Sidcup, Orpington, Swanley, Bromley, Bexleyheath, London

Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:

Service and repair of through-the-floor home lifts

*

Service and repair of straight and curved stairlifts from multiple manufacturers

*

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown visits

*

Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely

*

Deliver high levels of customer service at all times

*

Complete accurate service records and adhere to safety standards

*

Attend occasional call-outs (approx. 1 every 3 weeks)

The Ideal Stairlift Engineer:

*

Minimum 2 years’ experience working on mobility equipment – ESSENTIAL

*

Strong mechanical and electrical skill set – ESSENTIAL

*

Electrical qualifications – ESSENTIAL

*

Experience installing stairlifts or home lifts – DESIRABLE

*

Experience with through-the-floor lifts, platform lifts, hoists or similar – DESIRABLE

*

NVQ Level 2 in Stairlift Engineering – DESIRABLE

*

CSCS and/or SSSTS – DESIRABLE

*

Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL
