Key responsibilities
As Senior Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading from the front. Your duties will include:- Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
- Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Overseeing food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
- Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
