Senior Sous Chef | Hospitality & Fine Dining Central London | Contract Catering £49,000 per annum | Paid Overtime (1.5x standard rate) Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm | 40 hours per week We are seeking an experienced and highly polished Senior Sous Chef to support and lead a professional hospitality kitchen within a prestigious contract catering environment in Central London. This role focuses on delivering exceptional fine dining, bowl food, canapé events, and a high-end partner's lounge offer. You will manage a close-knit, skilled team of 8 chefs, producing restaurant-quality food for corporate hospitality and events. This is an outstanding opportunity for a chef with a strong fine dining background who is looking to apply Michelin-level standards within a stable, weekday-only contract catering setting. The Role As Senior Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to deliver refined, high-quality hospitality across multiple service styles. You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards, mentoring the team, and ensuring flawless execution for all events and lounge service. Key responsibilities include: * Leading, motivating, and developing a kitchen team of 8 chefs * Managing fine dining, bowl food, canapé events, and partner's lounge hospitality * Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service * Supporting menu development with a focus on modern, elegant, fine dining cuisine * Ensuring smooth kitchen operations across hospitality and event service * Maintaining exemplary food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards * Working collaboratively with senior kitchen leadership on planning and execution What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up * Essential fine dining background at Michelin-star / 3 Rosette level or within a 5-star hotel environment * Strong experience delivering high-end hospitality and event catering * Excellent leadership and team management skills within a smaller, quality-focused brigade * A refined palate, strong attention to detail, and passion for culinary excellence * Calm, organised, and professional approach in a demanding hospitality environment * A thorough understanding of food safety, allergens, and best kitchen practices If you'd like, I can also tailor this for a specific client brand, make it more corporate or more restaurant-led, or adjust the salary/hours tone.
