Senior Analyst – Defence (Analytics & Decision Intelligence)

The Role
Our client is looking for a Senior Solutions Analyst to join the growing Defence team.
You will work directly with clients to understand complex problems, shape analytical solutions, and support the delivery of decision-support tools and insights. This role sits at the intersection of consulting, data, and technology, requiring both structured problem-solving and strong stakeholder engagement.
You will be expected to operate confidently in front of customers, helping to translate real-world challenges into data‑driven solutions that improve decision-making and performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage small to medium client engagements
· Work closely with customers to understand problems, define objectives, and shape solutions
· Facilitate workshops and structured discovery sessions
· Translate business and operational challenges into analytical use cases
· Define high-level solution approaches, working with technical teams to deliver
· Support the development of proposals, scopes, and estimates
· Ensure high-quality delivery and clear communication of outputs
Key Competencies
· Experience in consulting, transformation, or problem-solving roles (e.g. strategy, operations, or analytics consulting)
· Strong structured problem-solving skills and the ability to work in ambiguous environments
· Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and lead discussions
· Understanding of how data and analytics can be used to drive business or operational value
· Experience shaping solutions at a conceptual level (e.g. processes, systems, and data architecture)
· Strong communication and facilitation skills
· Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC)
Desirable
· Experience working in Defence environments
· Exposure to data science, analytics, or technology-enabled solutions
· Familiarity with process modelling or architecture concepts
