Are you an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor seeking your next challenge in a supportive, collaborative environment? Our client—a reputable legal 500 law firm are seeking a senior solicitor to join their expanding Commercial Property team. This role offers both autonomy and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage your own client portfolio through proactive marketing, networking, and internal referrals
  • Handle a broad spectrum of commercial property work, including sales and purchases, Leases, lease extensions, assignments, surrenders, and alterations, Securitisation and property financing
  • Optional but advantageous experience: option agreements, conditional contracts, Section 106 agreements, land acquisitions, development projects, and plot sales
  • Provide clear, accurate advice via written correspondence, phone, and meetings.
  • Conduct due diligence and manage Land Registry submissions.
  • Generate and respond to new business inquiries; cultivate client relationships.
  • Uphold compliance, manage risk, and oversee case and file management.
  • Support team members' development, participate in CPD, and contribute to marketing initiatives—such as webinars, podcasts, and local networking events.
  • Engage in wider business development and charitable activities


Requirements

  • Ideally 7+ PQE in Commercial Property
  • Demonstrable experience in sales, property purchases, leasing, securitisation, assignments, surrenders, and alterations
  • Familiarity or experience with land acquisitions, property development, and development funding is a strong plus
  • Strong pride in delivering high-quality work, coupled with Lexcel-standard knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, efficient, reliable, and flexible
  • Strong organisational, time management, and file-handling capabilities
