Location: London (3 days per week in the office) About the Role This is a product-first HR tech company founded in 2020. They’re building modern infrastructure for HR teams, automating repetitive work so people teams can focus on high-impact, strategic initiatives.

Core HR platform: the central HRIS orchestration layer with a strong focus on integrations AI automation platform: an agentic AI product for company knowledge bases and workflow automation (e.g., help desks, contract follow-ups)

This is an environment built for builders. With no traditional product managers, engineers play an active role in shaping what gets built and why. You’ll be expected to pick up context quickly, ship from day one, and take end-to-end ownership of meaningful product work. Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of problems end-to-end: discovery, technical design, implementation, testing, release, and iteration Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and leads in a “mini-startup” squad model Contribute to product thinking: help define scope, challenge assumptions, and ensure solutions address real user problems Work across integrations, automation and AI-enabled workflows depending on business priority Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, documentation, and a pragmatic approach to quality and delivery

Requirements

Proven track record of delivering production features independently and iterating based on feedback Comfort working in fast-moving product environments with high ownership and limited hand-holdingCuriosity and the ability to gain context quickly in new domains, systems, or problem spaces Collaborative mindset: able to work effectively with design and engineering peers and communicate clearly
