This role sits at the core of delivering advanced electrified vehicle technologies. As Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of embedded systems development across eAxle drivelines, inverters, range extenders, and wider vehicle components. Combining hands‑on technical delivery with leadership responsibility, you'll guide software from early concept through to production‑ready, safety‑compliant solutions.
The Senior Software Engineer will:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded software systems.
Own software delivery across the full lifecycle, from requirements definition through validation and production release.
Develop, test, integrate, and debug embedded software on real‑time systems.
Create technical specifications, test plans, and supporting verification and validation activities.
Support system integration across vehicle domains including motor control, battery systems, and power electronics.
Ensure compliance with functional safety and relevant automotive standards.
The Senior Software Engineer will have:
A degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong experience in embedded software development within automotive or similar safety‑critical environments.
Proven hands‑on expertise with embedded C, real‑time systems, and RTOS‑based development.
Experience working with automotive microcontrollers (e.g. Aurix TriCore or similar) and low‑level drivers (SPI, ADC, PWM, CAN)
A solid understanding of communication protocols and vehicle networking (e.g. CAN bus)
Exposure to functional safety standards, such as ISO 26262, and safety‑compliant software development practices.
