Location: West London - 3/4 days per week

The Opportunity
\n
This is a founding engineering role, the Lead Software Engineer will be the one of the first dedicated technical hirers and will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's technology strategy, architecture, and engineering culture.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
\n Design, build, and optimise scalable, high-performance systems for ML-driven automation.
\n
Lead the development and deployment of next- control software solutions.
\n
Collaborate with the founding team to define technical strategy, architecture, and infrastructure.
\n
Contribute to end-to-end software delivery - back-end, front-end (as needed), and cloud infrastructure.
\n
Introduce best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
\n
Mentor future engineers as the team grows.
\n
\n
\n
Requirements:
\n
\n High-performance / high-transactional computing environments.
\n
C++ and modern software engineering best practices.
\n
Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).
\n
Exposure to or interest in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
\n
Building and scaling complex systems end-to-end.
\n
