Senior Software Developer | Cambridge | £60,000 - £75,000 | Python

Location: Cambridge (hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + benefits

Tech Stack:

We're partnering with an organisation at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology that’s redefining how we understand and approach human health. Operating in a competitive but rapidly expanding market, they’re now looking to bring a skilled Software Developer into their growing team. They’re seeking someone with strong Python skills - especially around API development - and the ability to apply this attention to detail to front-end projects and intuitive designs.

The Role

Write clean, secure and scalable code using modern frameworks and tools to bring innovative designs to life Build robust APIs using Python and connect them with frontend technologies such as TypeScript-based frameworks, ensuring smooth user experiences and efficient data flows Use Python to power AI and machine learning systems, including model development, model serving, and production inference Develop reliable backend infrastructure to support dynamic web applications Work with relational databases to ensure effective data handling and management

Requirements for Success

Proven commercial experience using Python Strong attention to detail and the ability to write clean and efficient code A genuine motivation to work in the Tech4Good space and be part of a business creating positive impact Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams A proactive approach to learning and confidence in tackling new challenges in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate will bring solid technical expertise along with a strong appetite for learning new technologies.
