Senior SDET - £75,000 - £85,000 per annum - Largely remote - 1 UK office visit per month

A key client is looking to add a senior SDET with strong API testing experience.

You will be joining a new teams and working on a brand new greenfield platform build, working on an exciting new app first feature.

A large amount of focus and work in this position will initially be focused on testing in API’s, developing and maintaining automated API's and end-to-end test suites; validating interactions across multiple distributed services. You will be comfortable with paired programming and well versed in agile software development methodologies.

As this is the first QA hire in this team, you will also be responsible for establishing and implementing their testing strategy.

Essential skills

• Strong backend API based testing/automation
• API Mocking
• Javascript/Typescript based automation testing experience (Playwright ideal but similar considered)
• Contributing to unit testing / experience with relevant tooling (Jest,
• Familiarity with risk based testing

This is largely a remote opportunity (one visit per month to central london office) but this is only open to UK based applicants and you must have valid right to work to apply.

This is a 2 stage process – 1st stage is a technical chat/discussion around your experience and the 2nd is technical paired interview with an API/Test automation exercise.
