Senior Social Worker – Long Term Locality Team Salary: Up to £51,130 per annum We are recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to join the Long Term Locality Team within Medway Council’s Adult Social Care service. This role provides professional leadership, supervision, and expertise to ensure high-quality, person-centred services for adults across the community. Main Purpose of the Role You will oversee and supervise a small number of social care staff, supporting their development through training, coaching, and mentoring. Alongside this, you will manage a complex caseload, demonstrating effective practice in challenging situations and ensuring safeguarding and welfare are prioritised. In collaboration with team managers and senior colleagues, you will play a key role in empowering Medway residents to maintain independence through early intervention, strength-based assessments, and holistic support. You will also contribute to service development, audits, and quality assurance, ensuring continuous improvement in practice and outcomes.
