We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Family Support & Safeguarding Team within Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker includes:

Undertaking initial investigations Undertaking core investigations Operating under the remit of the Children's Act, 1989 Attending child protection meetings Managing a high caseload Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files Supporting junior members of the team The ideal candidate will have: Social Work England registration Eligibility to work in the UK Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA) Working with Ackerman Pierce you will be guaranteed weekly payment and access to continued profession development, including a dedicated consultant to support you through the interview and on boarding process.
