Advertisement Details Adult Services (Learning Disability and Autism) provide a range of high quality care and support for adults with learning disability, autistic adults and adults with complex needs with assessed need. Adult Services (LD & ASD) comprises of Supported Living Service; Supported Vocational Activity Service (Eric Gray @ Seafield); Short Breaks and Respite Service (Newcraigielea), the Assertive Community Transition (ACT) Service (intensive support) all of which are Care Inspectorate registered services and part of Shetland Community Health and Social Care Directorate. Adult Services (LD and ASD) use a range of best practice guidance and person centred approaches to provide support that recognises the rights of the individual to participate as meaningfully and as independently as possible. The Senior Social Care Worker Supervisor s role includes ensuring that individuals receive high standards of care and support in accordance with relevant legislation and national guidance associated with the service This post is career graded - your salary will depend on your experience and qualifications. Due to the temporary status of this post the candidate would not be supported through a qualification Salary shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.5523 per annum (pro rata) 3 x Permanent Part Time/Full Time posts 35-37 hours per week and 1 x Permanent Part Time post 30 hours per week, 52.18 weeks per year The successful candidate will have to complete registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) when they begin in post A relocation package does not apply to this post You must have the ability to travel throughout Shetland at short notice and where public transport is limited We are happy to talk flexible working This post is based at Supported Living, Lerwick, Shetland.
