We are working with one of the UK’s most recognisable developers, known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use schemes across London and the South East. With a proven track record in creating landmark developments, they are now seeking a Senior Site Manager to take the lead on a major reinforced concrete (RC) frame development in London.

The Role

As Senior Site Manager, you will be the No.1 on-site lead responsible for driving delivery of a multi-phase, high-rise RC frame project through to completion. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive and detail-focused individual with strong RC frame experience and the ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and interfaces with technical and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Oversee and manage all health & safety procedures and site compliance
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades across various project phases
• Liaise closely with internal departments (technical, commercial, design) to resolve issues and drive progress
• Monitor programme, logistics, materials, and labour
• Conduct site inspections, progress reporting, and chair regular site meetings
• Ensure strong site documentation and compliance with NHBC or relevant warranties

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or similar role, ideally with a leading developer or Tier 1 main contractor
• Strong track record delivering RC frame developments – high-rise or large-scale residential preferred
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), First Aid
• Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations and health & safety standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate site teams
• Able to identify and solve problems proactively and efficiently
• London project experience highly desirable
