Freelance Senior Site Manager – Oxford

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Senior Site Manager to deliver two concurrent projects in Oxford, located in close proximity. Each project is valued at approximately £1.5m and requires strong leadership and organisational skills to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing and managing both projects simultaneously

* Coordinating and managing subcontractors on site

* Chairing site meetings and ensuring clear communication across all teams

* Updating and managing the programme on a weekly/bi-weekly basis

* Reporting progress, risks, and site issues to the Contracts Manager

* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, ideally within fit-out projects

* Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Experience working with main contractors and subcontractor management

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates are essential

Contract Details:

* Location: Oxford

* Start: Within 2 weeks (interviews taking place immediately)

* Duration: Ongoing freelance contract
