Job Description

The Role\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to oversee the delivery of new build retail schemes across Birmingham.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable main contractor, taking full responsibility for projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Full site management responsibility as No.1 on projects\n\n * Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers\n\n * Overseeing programme delivery and ensuring deadlines are met\n\n * Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site\n\n * Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders\n\n * Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specifications\n\n * Managing site documentation and reporting progress\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager on new build projects\n\n * Background working for a main contractor\n\n * Experience delivering retail or commercial schemes\n\n * Strong leadership and communication skills\n\n * Ability to manage programmes and drive projects forward\n\n * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Opportunity to lead and deliver high-profile retail projects\n\n * Strong pipeline of work in the Birmingham area\n\n * Competitive salary and package\n\n * Career progression within a growing contractor
