Freelance Senior Site Engineer – Essex
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Site Engineer to support a leading main contractor on a major industrial development in Essex. The project involves the construction of large-scale steel frame industrial units, offering a long-term contract running through to the end of the year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out for steel frame structures and associated groundworks
* Managing and overseeing QA procedures and documentation
* Maintaining accurate site records and completing all required paperwork
* Supporting site management with day-to-day engineering duties
* Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, specifications, and health & safety standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on industrial or steel frame projects
* Strong setting out capabilities using relevant surveying equipment
* Solid understanding of QA processes and site documentation
* Experience working with main contractors
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Contract Details:
* Location: Essex
* Duration: Immediate start through to end of the year
* Freelance / contract position
