Job Description

Role: Senior Engineer\n\nSalary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Car/Allowance + Package\n\nLocation: Coventry (Midlands Region)\n\nStart Date: As soon as possible\n\nReporting to: Project Manager\n\nThe Senior Engineer role\n\nI'm working with a contractor who are looking for a Senior Engineer to be part of their team in a slightly different role. They would be working across several large projects in the Midlands and wider region managing various small works. Its a great role for someone who likes working in a busy environment but still likes to get stuck in and do properly rewarding work.

You'll be working with an experienced team and work across the entire portfolio of this clients projects in the Midlands region.\n\nThe profile of work for the Senior Engineer\n\nThe works could vary from private developments, local authorities, Highways and other civils projects.\nDealing with defects and general aftercare during the maintenance period (generally 12 months after completion). \nEnsuring all defects are closed out at the end of the maintenance period to achieve final handover. \nWorking within TM.

\nGeneral civils experience. \n\nThe Senior Engineer will be responsible for\n\nSetting out of works, surveying and processing of data, production of surveys (AutoCAD/pdf). \nPermit production (various kinds)\nCoordination and review of RAMS and paperwork in advance of the works.

\nCoordination with clients and tenants of upcoming and current works \nSupervision of sub-contractors for works to be completed\nPotential close out of paperwork/update of H&S files. \n\nThe right Senior Engineer will be\n\nSomeone who will be open to different tasks day-to-day. \nSurveys, processing, inspections, permits, taking records, coordinating subbies etc.
