About the role

In the last 12 months, Carbometrics has developed and optimised an assay for the quantitation of glucose in aqueous media and in vivo applications. Attention is now being turned towards the sensing of other analytes of clinical significance. The successful candidate will be using their synthetic chemical, analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesise and modify a variety of molecules ranging from small molecules to larger macromolecules such as functional polymers, proteins and RNA/DNA.
