An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Schemes Underwriter to join a dynamic Manchester, London or Colchester based team specialising in the design and management of tailored insurance solutions for niche client groups.

This role sits at the heart of a growing UK retail business, working closely with broker partners to deliver innovative and profitable schemes across the Property and Contractors sectors. You’ll take ownership of complex and strategic schemes, underwriting and servicing key broker accounts while helping to shape the wider underwriting strategy. This is a chance to influence the direction of a market‑leading portfolio - driving growth, refining propositions, and ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality, bespoke insurance solutions. We’re looking for a confident, commercially minded underwriter with proven experience across Property and Casualty schemes. You’ll bring sound technical judgment, strong broker relationships, and the ability to make clear, informed decisions in fast‑moving, complex situations.
