Overview
Rooms To Grow is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our Chelmsford showroom. This position is suited to a candidate with a proven background in consultative sales, ideally within interiors, property, or design-led sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process, from initial enquiry through to contract completion, while delivering a high standard of customer experience. The role also requires the ability to work effectively across a range of internal systems and tools to support sales activity and client management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage inbound enquiries and welcome clients to the showroom in a professional manner
* Identify client requirements and provide appropriate product recommendations based on design, functionality, and budget
* Prepare detailed proposals using internal design and quoting systems
* Provide guidance to clients on relevant compliance considerations, including lawful development certificates and building control where applicable
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions using CRM systems
* Manage and track a sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression of opportunities
* Take full ownership of the sales cycle from initial contact through to signed agreement
* Work towards and consistently achieve individual sales targets
* Ensure all client interactions reflect the company’s standards of service and professionalism
Person Specification
* Demonstrable experience in a consultative, high-value sales role
* Experience within interiors, construction, property, or a related sector would be advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
* Confident and competent in the use of CRM systems, quoting platforms, and design or visualisation software
* Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes efficiently
* Good understanding of, or willingness to learn, permitted development and building control requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
