ROLE OVERVIEW


We are seeking an experienced Senior High Jewellery Sales Consultant to join this exceptional maison. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high jewellery sales, a strong network of UHNW clients, and the ability to proactively drive business in a by-appointment environment. This is an opportunity to work with some of the world's finest gemstones and one-of-a-kind pieces at the very pinnacle of the luxury jewellery market.


This is an urgent hire – candidates must be available to start immediately or within one month.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Build and maintain relationships with UHNW and HNW clients, delivering exceptional personalised service
  • Proactively develop new business through networking, client outreach, and leveraging existing relationships
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through consultative selling of high jewellery pieces
  • Host private client appointments and VIP viewings at the Knightsbridge salon
  • Represent the maison at international events, exhibitions, and trunk shows
  • Provide expert guidance on coloured gemstones, diamonds, and bespoke commissions
  • Maintain detailed client records and follow up on all opportunities with diligence
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver seamless, world-class client experiences


REQUIREMENTS


Essential:

  • Available to start immediately or within one month
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in high jewellery sales
  • Proven track record of personal sales exceeding £1 million+ annually
  • Established network of UHNW/HNW clients with a demonstrable client book
  • Experience with a recognised high jewellery maison
  • Ability to work proactively in a low foot-traffic, appointment-led environment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Genuine passion for gemstones, rare diamonds, and fine jewellery
  • Fluent English


Desirable:

  • GIA, Gem-A, or equivalent gemological qualification
  • Additional languages (are particularly advantageous)
  • Experience with bespoke and commission sales involving exceptional stones
  • Experience serving an international clientele
