We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Senior Resource Planner to manage a team of resource specialists and oversee the cost-effective and efficient resourcing of BPP Programmes.

What you’ll be doing
In this role you will report into the Director of Corporate Development and will undertake, amongst others, the following responsibilities:
- Lead the resource management process for specific Business School’s Programmes
- Line managing Resource Planners within their subject area
- Responsible for the delegation of day-to-day Resourcing tasks to the Resource Planner team
- Leading on the Resourcing cycle for the Programmes ensuring recruitment needs are fed through to the Resourcing Manager and the faculty recruitment team on a regular basis
- Acting as the main point of contact for resourcing queries and being the escalation point.
- Liaising closely with the Resourcing Manager to communicate any performance Management issues or Resourcing challenges such as Resource Gaps.
- Responsible for new starter training and disseminating important programme updates to the RP team
- Meeting agreed SLA’s with the central team and the wider operations team
- Collaborating with the Programme team to meet resourcing demands/requests
- Any other tasks and responsibilities required by business needs within resourcing
What experience you’ll need
To be successful in this role the following experience is essential:
- Demonstrable experience of Resource Planning
- Self-motivated with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
- Experience of organising and managing a team’s workload distribution
- A clear and professional communicator both verbally and written
- Able to consistently work to a high degree of accuracy, with excellent attention to detail
- A strong negotiator with experience of managing multiple stakeholders and dealing with difficult conversations
- Agile mindset with the ability to manage and adapt to last minute changes
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Office 365)
- A good level of education including excellent numeracy, literacy skills and the ability to apply logic
- Educated to degree level
- Experience of managing a team
- Experience of working with an Enterprise Resource Planning system (e.g., Retain)
- Good knowledge of BPPs wider products
- Knowledge of legislation regarding working time regulations, policies terms and conditions of service and Health and Safety
