Residential Building Surveyor (Senior)
Location: Croydon / Surrey
Salary: Up to £45,000 plus car allowance and commission

The opportunity
We are working with an established and growing firm of Chartered Surveyors to appoint a Residential Building Surveyor.
The business has built a strong reputation across London and the South East, working with a range of high profile lenders, private clients and residential portfolios. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced surveyor to their team.
This role offers a good level of autonomy, a varied workload and the opportunity to work with both lending clients and private instructions.

The role
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of residential surveying and valuation services across North and East London.
Your work will include:

Secured lending valuations
RICS Level 2 (Homebuyer) and Level 3 Building Surveys
Red Book valuations
Inspecting and reporting on a wide range of residential properties
Producing clear and accurate reports for lenders and private clients
Managing your own workload across a regional patch You will be supported with modern technology, including tablet-based reporting systems, allowing you to work efficiently and manage your time effectively.

About you
We are interested in candidates who:

Are AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified
Have experience carrying out residential valuations and surveys
Are confident delivering Level 2 and Level 3 reports
Have experience working with lenders and private clients
Are comfortable managing their own diary and workload
Have strong communication and report writing skills Experience with tools such as GoReport, Quest, Rightmove comparable tools or BCIS would be beneficial.
