Senior Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000 + Overtime + Bonus (OTE £65k+)

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing company for a Senior Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer.

This is a key position within the business, ideal for an experienced engineer looking to step into a more senior role with added responsibility, influence, and long-term progression.

The Role

You'll be the go-to engineer on site-handling complex faults, supporting junior engineers, and ensuring high standards across service and maintenance work.

• Service, maintenance & fault finding on commercial refrigeration & AC systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Support and mentor junior engineers
• Assist with commissioning and system optimisation
• Work independently across customer sites
• Participate in a 1-in-7 call-out rota
• Use Simpro system for job management and reporting

What They're Looking For

• F-Gas Category 1
• Strong background in commercial refrigeration & air conditioning
• Proven experience handling complex faults and large systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to lead by example and support junior engineers
• Based in or around Hampshire

Desirable (Not Essential)

• CO2 experience
• Commissioning experience
• Experience with Dixell XWeb / monitoring systems
• Previous mentoring or supervisory experience
