This desk focuses on software engineering hires within robotics and autonomous systems, supporting companies building everything from advanced automation and autonomous vehicles to next-generation robotic platforms. While experience recruiting software talent within robotics or autonomous systems would be a strong advantage, it’s not essential. Robotics is a highly specialist space, and we recognise that very few recruiters have direct exposure to it. What matters more is strong recruitment fundamentals and an interest in the technologies shaping the future of automation. For the right person, this role offers a rare opportunity to step into one of the most technically exciting markets in recruitment, with the support of a team that has been operating in robotics for over a decade. Why join Cubiq Robotics? Cubiq has been operating in the robotics market for over ten years, partnering with some of the most technically advanced companies shaping the future of automation and intelligent machines. Our Robotics practice works with organisations across the US robotics ecosystem, from venture-backed start-ups to globally recognised robotics leaders. Because robotics is such a specialist space, we place a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing, collaboration, and developing deep market expertise. You’ll be joining a team that actively supports each other in understanding the technology, the companies driving innovation, and the talent powering the industry. If you’re coming from a software recruitment background, we’ll support you in building credibility within the robotics ecosystem through close collaboration with experienced consultants who have already built strong networks in the market. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the market from people operating at the forefront of robotics recruitment, while still having the autonomy to build your own desk and client strategy. What you’ll do
Deliver the full 360 recruitment cycle, from business development to candidate placement and account management Build relationships with software engineers and technical leaders across the robotics ecosystem Develop and execute your own client development strategy within the US robotics market Inherit and grow existing relationships with robotics companies and engineering leaders Work closely with an experienced robotics team, sharing knowledge and market insight Build long-term credibility within a highly specialist technology market
