* Applicants must be British passport holders due to clearance requirements* Senior Quantity Surveyor Start date: ASAP Duration 6 months + Rate: £57 p/h (inside IR35) Locations: Hinkley, Berkely and Oldbury Power Stations Initially 3-months site based, then remote working Working hours: 4 days per week Monday to Thursday (07.25 - 17.30) based on site Our client is a leading engineering consultancy who require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support on a range of CAPEX decommissioning framework projects. Responsibilities: To provide an efficient and effective Quantity Surveying service to meet all cost and contract management requirements in compliance with relevant company procedures. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide mentoring and coaching to cost engineers. To have a thorough understanding and extensive working knowledge of the suite of NEC3 contracts To understand the standard contract clauses and any additional contract clauses for their assigned projects Ensure and fully understand all contract documentation and ensure it is readily available for use by the project controls team on the project To participate in project reviews and audits and conduct self-assessments of the Cost Management arrangements to ensure compliance is achieved with company procedures and contractual...
