Fawkes & Reece South are working with a growing contractor that works on civil engineering and groundworks projects on behalf of developers and private clients throughout Hampshire and Dorset. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on projects are worth between £500k and £2m based on both JCT & NEC contracts. Scope of works includes infrastructure works, footpaths, retaining walls, bridges and drainage etc. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a busy team to work with the Commercial Manager on various commercial duties that will include: Accurate monthly forecasting
Producing and sending subcontractors enquiries
Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
Managing change and producing compensation events
Agreeing on variations
Preparing final accounts Requirements including certificates and qualifications: Degree-qualified or equivalent in a civil engineering subject Experience working on any civil engineering or groundworks related projects Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK The successful candidate will be rewarded with a generous package plus opportunities to progress further within the business.
