Our client, a prominent organisation in the highways sector, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget, and adhering to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing all aspects of quantity surveying on highways projects
Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
Providing detailed progress reports and financial reporting
Ensuring projects adhere to legal and quality standards
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Experience in quantity surveying within the highways sector
Strong knowledge of NEC (New Engineering Contract)
Proficiency in cost management and project cost control
Keen analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field
Experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
