Salary: Competitive + Package (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Overview Due to the award of a major 5-year framework, a leading civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Exeter. Key Responsibilities Senior Quantity Surveyor Manage a portfolio of projects valued at approximately £20M Provide commercial leadership and support to junior Quantity Surveyors Offer contractual advice to operational and delivery teams Administer and manage NEC contracts Review, appoint, and manage subcontractors and supply chain partners Raise and manage subcontracts in line with governance procedures Monitor project costs, variations, and change control Identify commercial risks and opportunities to maximise project value Carry out subcontract valuations and authorise payments Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate cost and data reporting Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements HNC / Degree (BSc) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Minimum 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or utilities Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts Experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor Proven track record of managing infrastructure or water sector projects Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills Whats on Offer Hybrid working model Long-term secured work through a 5-year framework Career progression within a growing infrastructure contractor Supportive team environment with leadership opportunities Apply Now This Senior Quantity Surveyor role in Exeter is available immediately.
