Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a fast-growing contractor, specialising in high-end and high-value refurbishment and fit-out projects. They are a trusted and award-winning company known for excellence in construction, turning spaces into works of art.
The project you will be the Commercial Lead across is a £35M Cat A/B conversion of a historic building in Liverpool into an office development with a restaurant and social space within. You’ll be involved from pre-construction through to final account, overseeing procurement, managing subcontractor packages, and ensuring cost control and commercial success throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects. Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings. Analyse project specifications and identify potential cost-saving measures. Advise on procurement strategies and assist in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers. Negotiate and prepare contracts, including variations and change orders.
