About the Company

Our client is a respected civil engineering main contractor with a strong portfolio of infrastructure and general civils projects across the South West. Known for delivering technically challenging schemes to the highest standards, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a long-term freelance basis.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take a leading commercial role across a range of live civil engineering projects, including infrastructure works, drainage schemes, reinforced concrete (RC) structures, and general civils works.

You’ll work closely with project delivery teams to ensure robust cost control, accurate reporting, and strong commercial governance throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
Hybrid working is available, with a balance between site visits, office collaboration, and remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of civil engineering projects

* Manage valuations, variations, cost forecasting, and subcontractor accounts
