The OpportunityOur client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team within thewater industry. Operating across major infrastructure and utilities frameworks, they deliver high-value projects supporting critical water and environmental services across the UK.This is a key role with responsibility for managing the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial management across multiple water infrastructure projectsPrepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reportsOversee procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administrationManage risk, variations, and ensure contractual complianceWork closely with project teams, clients, and supply chain partnersMentor and support junior commercial staffAbout YouProven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role within a main contractor environmentExperience working on infrastructure orwater/utilities projects(preferred)Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skillsKnowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. NEC/JCT)Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or similarWhats on OfferCompetitive salary + packageClear career progression within a Tier 1 environmentLong-term work secured via major water frameworksSupportive and collaborative team cultureJBRP1_UKTJ
