Senior Quantity Surveyor Wigan - Leading Utilities Contractor

We’re partnered with a leading £60m turnover utilities contractor delivering projects across the UK, working with leading housebuilders, local authorities, and Tier 1 contractors. With over 20 years’ experience, they are an award-winning business with a strong track record and a secure pipeline of work.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint two Senior Quantity Surveyors to strengthen their commercial team.

The Role

* You’ll take ownership of multiple civils and utilities projects, managing all commercial aspects from pre-contract through to final account, while working closely with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Full commercial management of projects

* Cost reporting and forecasting

* Subcontract procurement and management

* Managing variations, claims, and final accounts

* Supporting and mentoring junior staff

Requirements

* Proven experience within civils or utilities is essential

* Experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level

* Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects

* JCT or NEC experience
