Our client is a leading infrastructure contractor working across the Railway, Highways and Power sectors, and specialising in the delivery of sustainable mechanical, electrical and telecommunication engineering solutions.\n\nThey are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with major project Rail sector experience, able to drive efficiencies and foster effective supply chain engagement.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a professional with major project experience to take the next step in their career and receive full support for personal growth and development.\n\nSenior Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:\n\nManage and administer NEC3/4 Option C Contracts.\nLead the review and valuation of contractor payment applications in line with contractual terms and conditions.\nLiaise and negotiate with the Customer's Commercial and Project teams.\nBuild and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nEnsure commercial records are maintained in accordance with contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues.\nInvestigate and draft contract communications and notices, including Early Warning Notices and notifications of Compensation Events.\nProvide contractual and commercial risk advice to the Commercial, Technical, and Construction Delivery teams.\nMonitor and report on commercial and cost reporting aspects of allocated projects.\nSupport the programme and project teams to ensure full compliance with contract and corporate governance rules.Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements:\n\nDegree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management or equivalent construction related qualification.\nPrevious Main contractor and/or joint venture experience within the rail industry.\nExperience managing M&E packages of work an advantage.\nProficient in managing NEC3-4 contracts\nExperienced in negotiating and procuring sub-contract packages\nExperienced in self-delivery of projects from pricing and award, through to final accounts.\nExperience managing and developing junior commercial staff.\nEnjoys being part of a collaborative and inclusive work culture.Senior Quantity Surveyor benefits:\n\nOpportunity to work on one of the UK's largest and most exciting infrastructure projects, with one of the UK's leading infrastructure M&E contractors, with long-term guaranteed work.\nFlexible working available\nVery competitive salary and benefits package\nImmediate role. \n\nIf you are interested in this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, apply now
