We’re hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a prestigious £150m heritage redevelopment in Central London — transforming a Grade I listed building into a luxury 5-star hotel, private members’ club, and high-spec residences. What You’ll Be Doing (The Role)
Lead the commercial management of a landmark, 200,000 sq ft development in Central London.
Manage and mentor a commercial team across tendering, procurement, and cost control.
Handle cost reporting, contract negotiations, and subcontractor relationships.
Engage in client liaison, representing commercial interests and securing repeat business.
Support claims management and dispute resolution, ensuring strong contractual compliance.
Liaise between site and head office teams (Essex-based) for seamless delivery and reporting. About You
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on high-value (£50m+) commercial or high-end residential projects.
Background in sectors such as hotels, listed buildings, prime residential, leisure, or complex refurbishments.
Confident with JCT contracts, NEC, procurement strategies, and package negotiations.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
A sharp commercial eye with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. About the Company
