Role: Pre Construction Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Stirling

Your new role

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with operational management on Contract and Commercial issues
• Maintain financial control systems and report monthly on Cost/Value Reconciliation
• Advise on financial aspects of contracts, ensuring timely valuations and payments
• Monitor site progress and issue notices per contract procedures
• Prepare and monitor forecasts of costs and values
• Develop Preliminaries budgets and oversee quotations to ensure competitiveness
• Hold regular meetings to agree on variations
• Manage subcontractor accounts to enhance performance
• Assist in securing labor, materials, and subcontractors to meet project deadlines and budgets
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy & Quality Manual

About you

You should be qualified with experience in managing budgets and delivering high-standard services in Quantity Surveying within the construction sector. Strong communication, negotiation, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
