About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be the Commercial Lead on a hospital in Hertfordshire. It's overall value is £80m but it is currently in phase 1 which is valued at £20m, since it is a recent win. This means you will be on the project from early stages. Their office is based near Watford and their projects run across North London and the Home Counties. With a company annual turnover of over £2bn, their divisions run as separate entities so, it still has a smaller/regional business feel with access to the management team. Recently, they have predominately focused on hospital, education, and Ministry of Justice projects. You would be joining a Tier 1 Main Contractor who have an excellent industry reputation and rarely hire for this team so this is a great opportunity available. Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor: You will be responsible for but not limited to; Providing assistance and support on all commercial issues Carry out cash flow reporting Managing forecasts and ensure all valuations are submitted by the deadline Final Accounts Managing the upstream and downstream process Key Requirements of Senior Quantity Surveyor: Degree in a construction related subject is ideal Experience leading projects with a main contractor, from proc...
