Senior Quantity Surveyor - London - £70,000-£75,000

A leading and expanding multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of major projects across infrastructure, commercial and mixed-use sectors. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering complex schemes while working within a highly regarded and collaborative environment. The appointed Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with Directors and clients, leading projects from inception through to completion. This Senior Quantity Surveyor role provides the opportunity to manage key client relationships, support junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the business. It is ideally suited to an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a more influential and client-facing role.

The Role * Leading cost planning, feasibility studies and commercial strategy as a Senior Quantity Surveyor * Managing procurement processes, tendering and contractor engagement * Acting as Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent (JCT) * Driving cost control, risk management and value engineering * Managing valuations, variations and final accounts as a Senior Quantity Surveyor * Producing and presenting detailed financial reports to clients * Mentoring junior surveyors and supporting team development

The Senior Quantity Surveyor? * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline * Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK market * Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management * MRICS Chartered (or working towards) * Excellent client-facing, leadership and communication skills * Organised and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor
