We are working with a well-established and leading specialist joinery subcontractor delivering luxury commercial, education and leisure projects across the UK. The business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, design-led joinery packages on complex and prestigious schemes.

The company works with leading clients and tier one main contractors nationwide and has a growing portfolio of secured work, including projects in London.  Travel to London will be required as part of the role.

The Role – Key Duties

Commercial management of multiple specialist joinery packages from pre-construction through to final account.

Preparation, submission, and agreement of monthly valuations, variations, and final accounts.

Providing commercial support to project and site teams to ensure cost control and margin protection.

Assisting with procurement strategy, subcontractor management, and commercial input throughout project delivery.

Producing accurate cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates aligned with project progress.

Supporting and mentoring QS team members, promoting consistent commercial best practice.

Liaising with clients, main contractors, and consultants on all commercial matters.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within joinery or fit out/refurb

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge with experience managing multiple projects.

Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with clients, main contractors, and internal teams.

Well organised, commercially aware, and detail focused.

Willingness to travel to projects across the UK, including London.
